SQL 2005 Native Client Configuration

I found yet another place where the TCPIP can be adjusted.

Remember how you can go to the SQL Server Configuration Manager,
and enable the TCPIP under the SQL Native Client Configuration??

There is another area though not explicitly associated with the
‘Native Client’ side it still affects the TCPIP Protocol.

Look only under the SQL Server Network Configuration while in the
SQL Server Configuration Manager. TCPIP is clearly listed, and
showing as disabled. Feel free to change it there.

I have read that the latest Service Pack addressed this issue
yet people are still having from time to time just like in SQL 2000.
