Setting Syntax Colors For SSMS 2016

Here’s a quick How-To on setting the Syntax Colors for SQL Server Management Studio 2016.

So here we have a basic query to information_schema.tables under SQL Server 2014. The logic is sound, but the syntax doesn’t appear to be properly color coded so we’re going to fix that next.

Select ‘Tools’, then ‘Options’.

Choose ‘Fonts and Colors’ on the left pane, and ‘Plain Text’ on the right pane.
